Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
1. Layover by Amy Andelson & Emily Meyer
Apparently this one is a lot like Clueless? It’s a contemporary in which some teenagers run off to Los Angeles to avoid their problems.
2. Honor Among Thieves by Rachel Caine & Ann Aguirre
A science fiction book about a thief!
3. A Conspiracy of Stars by Olivia A. Cole
This is another sci-fi about a girl called Octavia (!) who lives (literally) on another planet.
4. Caraval by Stephanie Garber
I actually know nothing about this one and I’d like to keep it that way.
5. The Roanoke Girls by Amy Engel
I’m excited for this one as it has been pitched as one of the best thrillers of 2017!
6. The Way of Shadows by Brent Weeks
My friend raves about this trilogy, and while I have heard that Weeks’ more recent series is better, I wanted to start at the beginning. Plus, I have all three books in this trilogy so I think a binge read is in order.
7. The May Queen Murders by Sarah Jude
I’ve heard mixed things about this one but I was intrigued by both the mystery and the cover.
8. The Violent Century by Lavie Tadhir
I’m always here for an alternate history! My friend Rinn sent this one to me ages ago and I’m finally going to get around to it.
9. Devils Unto Dust by Emma Berquist
This is a western, and also a horror. Pretty sure I’m going to love it.
This is another sci-fi about a guy who was born in space and who is travelling to Earth for the first time. I’ve heard mixed things, but a lot of people have been raving about it.

Honor Among Thieves looks and sounds really interesting. I really liked the Night Angel trilogy when I binged it almost 10 years ago or so but haven’t picked up anything else by Brent Weeks. Maybe I should. 🙂

Oooh, I hadn’t heard of DEVILS UNTO DUST before, but it sounds really good. I just put it on my GR TBR list. Thanks for the rec!

The only one I’ve read is the Way of Shadows trilogy, but it is AMAZING. I think I’ve read it two or three times now, but it’s almost time for another reread. Plus I met Brent Weeks at a signing and he’s lovely.
I’ve just put together my list and I completely forgot to add Caraval to it. Drat.
