hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
I’m doing this topic a little early because I’m not going to be around next week, and I really wanted to show you guys what I’ll be reading this spring! Of course, there’s an 80% chance that I will change my mind completely, but hey ho, this is fun.
1. UnSouled by Neal Shusterman
I was supposed to read this book back in January, but I’ve not been in the mood for it. Hopefully the will to read it will come back to me some time soon, because I really do love this series.
2. Meridian by Josin L. McQuein
I read Arclight last year and loved it because EPIC SHIP!, and I really hope that my OTP is endgame. I’m excited and also very, very nervous to find out how it ends.
3. The Taking by Kimberly Derting
I’ll be honest, I have no idea what this is about, but Derting is a great writer. I love her Body Finder series, and I’m excited to jump into this one.
4. A Feast for Crows by George R. R. Martin
I’ve been reading this since December (well, I’ve read 60 pages or something stupid), and I think I should hurry up and finish it before season four of the show ends.
5. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
This is one that keeps getting recommended to me – mostly by Sana – and I think spring will be a great time to finally read it. It’s been on my shelf since November!
6. On the Fence by Kasie West
KASIE WEST. That is all.
7. Red Rising by Pierce Brown
Red Rising has been getting so many positive reviews, I need to find out what all the fuss is about! I think it sounds epic.
8. Bot Wars by J. V. Kade
As you may or may not know, I bloody love Jennifer Rush (author of Altered/Erased). I bought this book last year because of my giant love for her writing, but haven’t managed to read it yet. SOON.
9. The Luxe by Anna Godberson
Judith recommended this to me for Epic Recs, and I’m very excited about it because I love Gossip Girl, I love historical pieces, and I love Rich People Drama.
10. Something Real by Heather Demetrios
SOMEONE GET ME THIS BOOK! *cries*
Yes to The Raven boys! I was ‘forced’ into reading this one by Christina (reads YA) and I totally LOVED it. The cast is amazing and I liked the mysterious plot. I definitely can’t wait for the next book. I have the idea you’ll really like it too ๐ One the fence looks so cute, I might go for it! And I’m curious about The taking as well.
YESSS THE RAVEN BOYSSSS.
I am super stoked for when I get the opportunity to read On the Fence because TDBU was full of adorbs and Kasie West is brilliant at writing romances.
Been hearing so much about Something Real! The rave reviews about it make me so curious to check it out too!
Also just saw your blogroll. GAH AMBER <3 *WIPES TEAR*
I’m reading A Feast for Crows right now. It’s taking me the longest time to finish it (I started in December as well) but I’m almost there! I need more self-control when it comes to giant books like these. I like to forget about them and read other stuff… I’m hearing a lot of positive things about The Raven Boys so maybe I should check that one out as well.
I was going to read Unsouled back when it first released. .. and I still haven’t read it. I LOVE the series. . . but I haven’t been in the mood to be able to handle such a creepy story at the moment.
The Raven Boys is on my spring TBR too–EVERYONE keeps telling me I’ll love it, so I need to get to it!
Eep On the Fence was ADORABLE. I love everything Kasie West writes.
HELL YEAH, THE RAVEN BOYS. *freaks out*
Dude, the last line of The Raven Boys will make you want to read The Dream Thieves and that is all.
Also, On the Fence. So freakin’ excited for that.
I was lucky enough to get Meridian and The Taking for review. I can’t wait to read them. I have a signed copy of the raven boys that I got a couple years ago but I haven’t read it yet. Hope you get to read all of these!
I just finished The Raven Boys, but I’m kind of all over the place about how I feel about it. I really loved some aspects of it, but then I’ve got so many unanswered questions! Guess I just need to read the sequel! Haha
On The Fence is on my tbr list for the spring too. I love Kasie West books and am currently reading Pivot Point! She writes awesome romances =D I’ve seen some good reviews for it so my hopes are high!
ON THE FENCE OMFG IT’S THE BEST.
The Raven Boys is pretty good, but it’s really the sequel that’s amazing, so although I definitely hope you enjoy TBR, if you end up not liking it THAT much, I’d recommend continuing on to TDT! That’s what happened to me, in any case ๐
ON THE FENCE OMG. I resolve to read ALL of Kasie West’s books this year. Especially after Pivot Point asdfghjdsfghhj;
I’m actually tempted to join TTT next week for the sake of this topic but I know that even though I post my TBR online, chances are I’m gonna read completely different books xD
Kasie West!!!!!!11 Excitement overload. Also, Something Real. I want it for the cover alone.
