Because the main character is gender fluid.
8. The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye
I’ve been in the middle of this one forever and I need to finish it.
I’m still trying to find a great Peter Pan retelling to rival Tiger Lily.
10. Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire

Empire of Storms is also on my TTT today. I pre-ordered it (which I never do) and then didn’t even read it when it arrived. Ah well… And I still haven’t even read The Dream Thieves, I have so much catching up to do.
I’m really intrigued by Into the Dim, because it reminds me of Outlander. I’m waiting for the paperback 🙂 Crown’s Game is also on my list, I won a copy last year and still haven’t picked it up!

I too have not gotten to any of these yet but have Every Heart in my queue for this month. Excited! Can’t wait to see what you think of these titles as you get to them!

I like SoC but didn’t LOVE it like everyone else. I LOVED Crooked Kingdom. I hope it surpasses your expectations.

The Crown’s Game was on my list this week too. I really enjoyed The Raven King and Empire of Storms when I read them last year. A lot of these are on my TBR too!
I totally wasn’t a fan of The Raven King even though there are some things I absolutely loved about it. I just started reading Six of Crows yesterday so let’s see how that goes for me.
I’m super curious about Blackhearts because pirates but haven’t decided if I do want to read it. Same for Symptoms of Being Human.
I mainly read Every Heart a Doorway because of how much attention it was getting and I got curious. Alas, I wasn’t super impressed overall. Loved the characters but the plot was eh. I hope you like it more than I did, though!
I didn’t even know EHAD was getting a lot of attention, that’s how out of the loop I am! I’m gonna try it and see how it goes.
It makes me feel better that I’ve seen Empire of Storms on a LOT of lists this week. At least I’m not the one and only person left in the world who hasn’t picked it up yet.
Also, please read Crooked Kingdom ASAP. I’ll (finally) read Unraveling if you read this.
