It’s time for another Bout of Books! Woooooo! Are you excited? I’m excited. Also a little sad because it’s the last Bout of Books of 2014, but mostly excited.
My goal for this Bout of Books is to whittle down my pile of review copies, because they’re getting out of control now that I have started a new job. I’m not going to stress out if I’m not in the mood for them, and want to pick something else, but my main goal is to read as many of them as I can. I have a day off work on Friday, which was some excellent accidental planning on my part, and I hope to get a lot read then. I also have a day off next Monday, so I’ll be able to stay up reading until midnight on Sunday. WOO!
Judith and I are also battling it out again, because what is a readathon without a little healthy competition? Her goal is to read eight books, so I’ll have to read nine to beat her if she reaches it. If Judith doesn’t get to eight, then I just have to read more than her. Who will win the Battle of Bout of Books 11? ME. Who knows.
Here is a sample of my review pile, particularly the books that I’m most excited for (I thought it would be best to start with those):
I’m not going to get through all of them unless I’m VERY lucky, but like I always say, I like to have options. Options are good and essential and everything you need.
Crini and I are also planning on reading The Way of Kings Part 1 together for the readathon, which might slow me down slightly because I’ll need to take everything in. However, I cannot wait to start that one because BRANDON SANDERSON, so we’re starting first thing this morning.

Idk what you’re going on about because I’m clearly going to win this time
Rites of Passage and Falling into Place are good. You need to read those. Not sure if you’ll like Falling into Place but I need to discuss it with someone so you should just read it anyway okay? okay. (*insert crying john green fans here*)
You also need to read A Thousand Pieces of You so I know if I need to read it soon.
May the odds be ever in your favor. (But not really because I’ll win.)

NO I WILL WIN I AM THE CHAMPION OF BOUTOFBOOKS-UA.
You would understand that reference if you would watch a certain show about freedom.
I don’t know if I want to read Falling Into Place during the readathon, or ROP because they’re going to break me, I know it. But perhaps I should because they’re out soon.

Haha, I can’t wait to see who is going to win 😉 Snow like ashes looks fantastic, I love the cover and the promise. Fire & Flood sounds interesting and I’m excited about A thousand pieces of you. I wasn’t blown away by Falling into place, I have mixed feelings about this one. Happy reading and good luck with the challenge!

MEEEEEEEE. I WILL WIN.
Snow Like Ashes looks amazing, I agree. I really want to read it but I also want to read everything else!

You have a great list of books put together for the readathon 🙂 Good luck as we go into the last few days!
