Me in March
Another busy month! March was supposed to be quite chilled out, but it turned out to be quite hectic because we were seeing friends a lot. We did take my little sister ice skating for her birthday, which means we’re all becoming pros at this point. Unfortunately, I still can’t skate backwards, but SOON.
I went to an event at the Gollancz offices which showcased their upcoming books for 2019. I had a really good time for most of it, but unfortunately the chaos and crushing when the ARCs were released made me really anxious so I left early.
I’ve been really getting into fitness again now that it’s a bit brighter in the evenings and it’s not so cold. I’ve been running 2k on the treadmill at the gym before each workout, and I’ve managed to get my time down to 10:49, which I think is decent! I also ran a 5k at a local country park, which I managed in just over 30 minutes (with a bit of walking). And then my latest 2.5k only took 14 minutes, so I think I’m making good progress! I’m hoping to keep this up in the lead up to summer, because it puts me in a really good mood!

Again, I don’t think there’s much going on in April but that will probably change! I took part in the 24 Hour Readathon at the weekend because it’s my favourite bookish event and I wouldn’t miss it. It was a tonne of fun.
I also need to record a bunch of videos so that I don’t fall behind on Booktube again, so one of my goals for April is to try to stay motivated and record EVERYTHING.
Of course, Easter is coming up so I’m planning on eating my weight in chocolate eggs, but aside from that the month is looking pretty free for once!
If you have posted a March wrap up then please feel free to link it below! I’d love to come and check it out.
