Top Ten New Series I Want To Start

TTT HEADERI love series. While everyone is off complaining about the sheer number of trilogies in YA, I’m starting all the new series that I can. This is a slight problem because I have trouble finishing them, but that does matter because this week’s topic is about the series that I want to start.

prisoner of night and fog1. The Knots Duology by Amy McCulloch

This is a fantasy series that I discovered a few months ago, and then I bought a copy at YALC. I think it sounds vaguely Spartacus-y and therefore I must read it.

2. Prisoner of Night and Fog by Anne Blankman

Because I want to read more historical fiction and I really like the concept. PLUS it would be good to read this for a certain readathon that’s happening in December, since it’s a debut.

3. Dualed by Elsie Chapman

This one hasn’t been getting the best reviews, but why should I even care? It’s about lookalikes who set out to eliminate each other and YES.

4. Cainsville by Kelley Armstrong

But before I start this I have to read her other three series because I refuse to read them out of order.

5. The Memory Chronicles by Lenore Appelhans

I have no idea what this series is about but whatever.ring and the crown

6. Fetch by Kat Falls

Kat Falls’ Dark Life series was epic, but it has been put on hold due to poor sales. I have to get my fix somewhere!

7. Talon by Julie Kagawa

DRAGONS

8. Memoir by Lady Trent by Marie Brennan

MOAR DRAGONS

9. The Ring and the Crown by Melissa de la Cruz

Alternate history! Alternate history!

10. The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon

Because everyone is freaking out about this one and I need to jump on that hype train.

I really don’t understand why everyone else always complains about series! Series are awesome!
Cainsville!!! <3 I only read the first one yet (which was SO good) nd then told myself to finish The Women of the Otherworld series first before I buy another Kelley Armstrong book.

Memoir of Lady Trent is a good one too! Wasn't what I expected but it's a fun story!

AND YEESSSSS! BONE SEASON! SOOO GOOOD!

Every single book you listed here is on my to read list. ALL OF THEM. So you need to read them and let me know if I need to go hunt them down. Yes. That sounds like a good plan.

Prisoner of night and fog, yes please! I adored it. TALON. I’ve loved everything by Kagawa so far and I love dragons, so this is gonna be epic.

I want to start a few of these myself, especially Talon and The Prisoner of Night and Fog. I’ve been hearing great things about both of those. I hope you can get to some of these soon 🙂 Here’s my TTT.

  5. The Bone Season! Maaan, I so want to start that series soon. And oh, The Ring and the Crown, Dualed, and The Memory Chronicles are all on my list, as well. I mean, I do plan to finish series next year but hey, I gotta start two for every one I finish haha.

I love/hate series. I LOVE binge reading them, but I HATE waiting for all the books to be released. And I’m old, so my brain is like a sieve – I have so much trouble remembering what happened in the previous book – EXCEPT if I madly love it.

I’m still trying to decide if I want to try The Bone Season or not…it’s like a creeper series, and the more I see it, the more I’m intrigued!
