Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
1. The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead
This book has been promoted like crazy by all major booksellers and I totally bought into the hype. One of my friends from work in currently reading this and she says it’s really good.
I didn’t know this book was set in Carcassone, France before I went there, otherwise I’d have read the entire trilogy before I left. Maybe this way is better, though, because I’ll be able to visualise the city so much better.
I was going to read and recap this book anyway, but then I saw Jaz‘s post-Godsgrave reactions and decided I had to go ahead and buy it.
THIS IS (HOPEFULLY) GONNA BE SO GOOD.
5. The Abyss Surrounds Us by Emily Skrutskie
Space pirates and lesbians. Yasss.
I’ve never read anything by Joe Hill, but I figure this is a good place to start? I think it sounds pretty good.
I’ve had a lot of Nesbo books on my shelf for years now, and the upcoming movie release of The Snowman has inspired me to get started on the series.
8. Mother, Mother by Koren Zailckas
Autumn is going to be the time for horror and thrillers!
A dark Peter Pan retelling? Yes please!
10. Dead Zone by Robison Wells
I loved Blackout, so I want to finally finish off this duology.

I read The Child Thief a while ago. It was an interesting story. Hope you like it.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.

Oooh, MOTHER MOTHER sounds good. So does THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD — I just haven’t gotten around to reading it yet. One of these days!
