I’ve heard so many mixed things about this one, but I want to read it so that I can watch the movie. Because you should always read the book first!
5. The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien
I read The Hobbit back in December, and really didn’t enjoy it. Nevertheless, I’m gonna give this one a go because I think I’ll enjoy it a lot more. The story is much more complex than that of The Hobbit!
6. Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion
This is another one I want to read just so I can watch the movie. I’ve heard that the movie is better, but I’ll have to read the book first before I can judge!
I didn’t get the chance to read this before the movie came out, but that’s okay because I wasn’t going to watch the movie anyway. I’ll get to this at some point!
8. Matched by Ally Condie
Hahahaha, I’ve been trying to read this for two years. Okay, that’s an exaggeration. I picked it up two years ago, stopped about fifty pages in and then never picked it back up again. I’m determined to finish it this year so that I can get it out of my Currently Reading shelf, and so I can see if I end up liking it!
9. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
My auntie recommended this to me a couple of years ago, and I still haven’t managed to read it. I have it on my shelf, and I WILL be reading it in 2013.
