November is always a quieter month for new book releases, which is a shame because it’s also my birthday month and I want to splurge! I have found a few new releases that I’m excited about, ranging from ones I’m mildly intrigued by to others that I cannot WAIT to read.
The Fires of Vengeance by Evan Winter
This is the sequel to The Rage of Dragons which I admittedly haven’t read but I’m super keen to get to it! It sounds very Spartacus-esque as it’s a story about revenge and slavery, but with dragons.
Rent a Boyfriend by Gloria Chao
The main character rents a boyfriend to impress her Asian parents and I assume she then starts to catch feelings and it sounds so cute??
How to Pack for the End of the World by Michelle Falkoff
I’ve read this one already but I very much enjoyed it! It’s about a girl called Amina who goes to boarding school and gets in with a group of people who like to talk about the end of the world. There’s a mystery, some games, parties, romance… it was adorable. My review will be going up next week!
The Flip Side by James Bailey
Sometimes you’re just in the mood for a rom com.
Rhythm of War by Brandon Sanderson
I haven’t caught up with the series yet but… obviously.
This is Not a Ghost Story by Andrea Portes
I’m very curious about this one and it sounds like it could be super creepy. I’m still in the mood for a bit of horror, so I might check it out while I’m in the zone.
These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong
I’ve seen this Romeo and Juliet retelling absolutely everywhere. I don’t normally like to read R&J retellings, but this one is set in 1920’s Shanghai so I do want to give this one a go!
The Boy Toy by Nicola Marsh
Again, a rom com is something I like to enjoy from time to time.
The Burning God by R F Kuang
OBVIOUSLY.
Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline
I didn’t love Ready Player One but I’m intrigued to see what goes on in this one.
Instant Karma by Marissa Meyer
The main character learns that she can cast instant karma so this sounds a bit like a revenge story wrapped up in a cute romance. Yes?!?!
Those Who Prey by Jennifer Moffett
This is a psychological thriller that is said to be perfect for fans of Sadie, and that is enough for me.
Which November new releases are you looking forward to? Are you going to be splurging along with me this month, or are you saving your money for the January wave?
