Me in March
So, March was fun. I stayed at Tatum’s at the beginning of the month and cried over Love, Rosie, and you all know how much I love crying over movies. I started by new role at work because the person I was job sharing with previously has now left the company, and I’m doing the job full time instead of editing for half the week. Woo! I’m loving starting and finishing earlier, especially now that it’s light out at 5PM. Then, I nearly died in a house fire. We have an open fire in the living room and my grandad fell asleep without the guard up. A spark flew out of the fire and hit the rug, which went up in flames. My grandad woke up in time to put it out, but not before the fire alarm went off and I went shooting downstairs in a panic. And the carpet now has a huge hole in it. I also ate two Easter eggs already. Oops. And, as I am writing this, I just got back from my very first spa day! I treated myself and went with a few friends from work. I really enjoyed it, although it wasn’t quite as relaxing as I was hoping it would be. And I had a deep tissue massage so I am in so much pain.

Book of the Month
Movies and TV
Spartacus – I finished watching the show with Judith and I was just as upset this time around as I was two years ago. I keep telling myself never again, but I know that it’s only a matter of time before I start watching from the beginning. It’s a phenomenal show – better than The 100 – and it’s my all time favourite. You should all watch it if you want to watch a series about the rise of the oppressed and the story of a man who almost changed the entire Roman Republic.
The 100 – IT’S OVER AND I AM SO SAD AND OH MY GOD CHEEK KISSING AND THINGS HAPPENED AND “PULL THE LEVER” “TOGETHER” AND IT’S NOT BACK UNTIL THE AUTUMN WHY DOES THE CW HATE ME.
House of Cards – Tatum and I started this, and while it is SLOW, I think I am enjoying it. I like the main guy because he is really freaking manipulative and he is taking those rich politicians DOWN. Not in love with his wife yet, though, because fuck you for firing all those people. Don’t mess with the working class because I will not like you for it.
Hawaii Five-0 – I’m still on season one but I am loving it. STANNOOOOOO.
Fast and Furious/Fast Five – I watched these two movies with Dee and Tatum, because Dee has never seen them (THE HORROR) and Tatum and I like to rewatch. This is one of my all time favourite franchises – if not THE favourite – and I’m loving watching it again for the millionth time.
Looking forward to
This weekend I am seeing Judith and Amsterdam again! A little after her birthday, but we have a four day weekend here in England so I’m taking advantage of having Friday off work. I could have gone for longer because we have Monday off as well, but I want to day to sleep. I will be giving Judith her birthday present and SHE WILL LOVE IT. Or else.
I’m also going to a couple of events, the first being the author evening with Deborah Harkness and Victoria Schwab in London. I’m not sure if anyone else is going, but I’m happy to go alone and just chill while I listen to them talk. That’s not creepy, right? It is an author event, after all. And then I’m hopefully going to the Booktube Bash later in the month.
Mostly, I’m just looking forward to eating Easter eggs.
