Me in June
I didn’t get up to too much in June because I was so busy during the first half. I went to a book event at Hodder, which was a lot of fun and I got to meet with a few other bloggers. The main thing that stands out to me, though, is finishing my exams! I had three exams over a two week period (and one exam in May) and they were stressful but I think they went well. I won’t get the results until the end of August though. But once those exams were over, I flew off to Virginia to stay with my best friend for eleven days! They were the best eleven days that I’ve had all year. I love Virginia and my friend and her family, and I can’t wait to go back in October. I will figure out a way to move over there permanently. As long as there are no connecting flights involved because those are awful and cause delays. And as long as I don’t actually have to live there.

Book of the Month
Movies and TV
Leverage – I had already seen one and a half seasons of this show and Dee had watched the whole lot before we finally got Tatum on board. We started watching Leverage at Dee’s house and I really hope we continue soon because I think it’s a fantastic show. It’s fun, but quite difficult for me to marathon, for some reason.
Jurassic World – I HAVE BEEN WAITING YEARS FOR THIS MOVIE AND HERE IT IS AND IT WAS AMAZING! Jurassic Park is my all time favourite movie. It’s been #1 on my list for years and years, and I was SO. FREAKING. EXCITED. when the fourth movie was announced. We went to see it in the US and it was amazing and beautiful and I cried pretty much all the way through because DINOSAURS and T-REX and RAPTORS and also Chris Pratt.
Hawaii Five-O – I got Dee on board with this show and she’s trying to catch up to where I’m at (the middle of season one) so we can marathon it together. We then got Tatum on board because I wanted to introduce her to my OTP: Stanno.
Horrible Bosses 2 – I watched the first movie AGES ago and I finally got around to watching this one on the plane to the USA. It’s not as good as the first but it had some really funny moments and I had no idea Chris Pine was in it!
The Dark Knight Rises – I watched Mad Max: Fury Road last month and it kicked off a whole load of Tom Hardy feels, so I decided to watch all of his movies. I limited myself to three, but I’m on my way. I didn’t actually follow the story of this movie at all because it was so bloody dull and it could easily have been condensed to ninety minutes, but BANE. And his shoulders.
This Means War – I watched this movie a couple of years ago and back then I was all CHRIS PINE <3 but now TOM HARDY <3 What was I thinking?! What was Reese Witherspoon thinking?!
Lawless – This movie was not what I was expecting and it was the first movie we picked for the #TomHardyParty. Dee and I make questionable decisions.
Mad Max: Fury Road – YES I REWATCHED IT AGAIN AND PAID DOUBLE FOR IT AND WHAT???
Looking Forward To
I’ve decided that July will be my month of relaxation. The past few months have been really bloody stressful with exams and everything, and I also took on some new stuff at work after I was promoted. So I’ll be taking it easy in July and will maybe focus on blogging and Booktubing. I also have a boat load of shows that I want to start and/or catch up with/finish, including: Agent Carter, LOST (season two onwards), Grey’s Anatomy (season four onwards), Leverage, Heroes, Sense8, Once Upon a Time, Hawaii Five-O… the list is enormous because Tatum and I keep starting shows and not continuing with them.
