Me in February
I don’t think I even did anything that interesting in February! The month was mostly taken up by work, which caused stress, which meant I didn’t want to do much. Then we got let out of work early last week (twice!) because of the blizzards, which means the chaos is just not going to stop.
I went to Cadbury World with some friends, which was really nice. I mean, lunch was sooo good, and seeing them was great, but the actual tour of Cadbury World was dull. It wasn’t what I was expecting at all, and it was super busy and there were children running around everywhere. The “free” chocolate wasn’t enough for me to want me to go back. But we had a great day overall, especially as we hadn’t been together as a group in nearly a year.
I’ve now been vlogging for an entire month over on my Booktube channel, and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. It’s kind of making me want to get back into making actual videos rather than just vlogs, but vlogs are so much easier to do and I don’t think I have the time to vlog, Booktube, and book blog right now. One thing at a time, I think!
Also, I saw Black Panther and I LOVED IT.

Book of the Month
Reading Stats
Looking at my reading statistics is rapidly becoming my favourite part of the month. It’s just so interesting to see all the numbers! In February, I read 9 books, which was a bit lower than January’s 14. I expected this to happen, though, because of work and of course because February has fewer days. I read 3319 pages in total, which includes about 30 pages of the 1 book I DNF’d. I also listened to 439 minutes of an audiobook.
My average rating was 2.6, which is lower than the 2.9 from January. I wish it hadn’t been that low, but I read a couple of crappy books at the beginning of the month which unfortunately weren’t balanced out by the amazing ones I read.
I bought two books, one paperback and one ebook, and spent £10.38 in total.
Looking Forward
March is looking like the perfect balance of chilled out and adventurous! Next weekend a few friends and I are taking part in a virtual murder mystery event in our town, which should be really fun. Then Quill and I are off to a friend’s birthday drinks in London, which I’m a bit anxious about but it should be fine.
Then we’re off to Dublin! I booked a three day trip for Quill’s birthday back in November and it has finally come around. We’re planning on spending the first day exploring the city, going on a day trip on the second day, and then enjoying the St Patrick’s Day parade before flying home on the third day. I can’t wait, especially as it has been ages since I left the country. I’m planning on doing a couple of blog posts on the trip for my travel feature.

I feel you on work chaos, luckily, I was off of work when the snow happened and I am glad because the snow was crazy. It hard and fast. I am not looking forward to heading back in though. I can’t believe you’d not been to Cadbury World before. i agree, it’s not that amazing but it’s near to me and I do love it. Also… chocolate! It is a place intended for children but it’s still kind of nice. Especially when the weather is nicer and you can tour around everywhere else. I do love looking at reading stats, too. There is something about being able to see your reading like that that is so nice.

Haha, that’s how I felt at the chocolate museum in Cologne.
How is your average rating so low?! You need better books!!
Ooh, let me know how the murder mystery event is. That sounds cool.
Have fun in Dublin! I really want to go to Ireland.
