Me in February
The best thing that happened to me this month was getting a kitten! I was going to adopt a cat because I really don’t want to support breeders when so many other cats need homes, but the RSPCA was not keen on letting me adopt since we already have a dog. So I went in search for cats that were in need of homes on various other websites and I found my little kitten on one of them! She’s from an accidental litter and her litter-mates had already left, so when I saw her my heart melted.
Everyone, meet Octavia!

TV & Movies
- The 100 – Can we just talk about how my favourite currently airing show has A BISEXUAL MAIN CHARACTER. It is canon, guys. This is everything I ever wanted. I might cry. I’m still a die hard Bellarke shipper and nothing will pull me off that train, but I’m loving Clexa right now because it’s a way of representing different sexual orientations and IT PROVED THAT THE MAIN CHARACTER, CLARKE, IS BISEXUAL. I’m fine, I’m fine. (I’m not fine).
- The Vampire Diaries – I accidentally watched two episodes of The Vampire Diaries because I thought Kai was hot. It’s embarrassing and I don’t want to talk about it.
Looking Forward
– The 100’s finale is in a couple of weeks and I am not ready at all.
– Driving lessons are a thing that is happening in March. If I disappear, it’s because I’ve driven into a pond.
– I’m going for a spa day at the end of the month with some people from work. I’m very much looking forward to it! Even if I did accidentally book a men’s facial.
– On the 9th, I will be taking over the job that I’ve been sharing since August, since my coworker is leaving. I’ll be doing it full time, which means I’ll be able to finish work at 5PM every day! No more 6.30 for me.
Great wrap up! I need to watch The 100. I have heard great things, but I have never seen it.
It is the BEST thing.
I’m still waiting for you to watch it XD
I love the Lies of Locke Lamora as well! Such an amazing fantasy novel. I saw Black Dove, White Raven on Netgalley but didn’t request it -because I have too many already. But I’m really curious about it!
I REALLY have to start watching the 100. I’ve seen so many people rave about it!
YESSSSS. I’m reading the sequel this month and I’m very excited. The amount of self control I am showing right now by not abandoning everything and reading it is astounding XD
YOU DOOOOO. DO IT NOW.
AAH OCTAVIA! SO CUTE! I ALSO JUST GOT A KITTEN! THEY SHOULD BE BUDDIES 😀

KITTEN BUDDIES
Octavia is so cute! She’s adorable!
I still haven’t watched this weeks episode of The 100 but all I’ve been hearing about is Clexa! I neeeeeeed to watch it. Kai is kind of hot, in a hot psychopath way…
She’s the cutest!
AND CLEXAAAAAA. So wonderful. Obviously I’m still a hardcore Bellarke shipper but Clexa is brilliant. And I’m convinced she’s going to die anyway bahaha.
Your new kitten is absolutely adorable. I hope she fits into your family – and that she and your puppy become best friends! Also I haven’t yet started watching The 100 (I’m waiting until I read the books and YES I’M VERY BEHIND ON MY TBR), but I’ve heard so many fantastic things that I’m really excited to look forward to it!
I know! She’s the sweetest. My dog is 11 years old though so this is a big change for him and he’s a bit wary, haha. You need to hurry up and watch The 100 *squeals* It’s absolutely epic. I don’t know if anyone has told you that it’s nothing like the books at all? 🙂
Aw, I’m sure he’ll get used to her in time. We have three cats, and the older one took some time getting used to the newer additions – but they mostly get along now. And I couldn’t imagine our home without any of them! I honestly have tried to avoid reading anything about either because spoilers. So as in the characters, plot details are different but the setting and general plot arc follow the books, or same characters, different plot??
The only things that are similar to the books are the initial premise (a group of teenage prisoners are sent down to Earth to see if it’s survivable) and the character names. The show was written before the book was even finished, so they have very little in common. Even the season-long plot arcs are completely different to the books 🙂
