Bout of Books 11 was definitely the most successful Bout of Books yet! For me, at least. I don’t think I have ever read so many books or pages during this event before, because I tend to be better at the 24 hour readathons rather than the week-long ones. But with a little help from Judith (who I was racing, as usual), I was able to read a total of SIX books! I know, I don’t know what came over me either.
Bout of Books 11
It’s time for another Bout of Books! Woooooo! Are you excited? I’m excited. Also a little sad because it’s the last Bout of Books of 2014, but mostly excited.
My goal for this Bout of Books is to whittle down my pile of review copies, because they’re getting out of control now that I have started a new job. I’m not going to stress out if I’m not in the mood for them, and want to pick something else, but my main goal is to read as many of them as I can. I have a day off work on Friday, which was some excellent accidental planning on my part, and I hope to get a lot read then. I also have a day off next Monday, so I’ll be able to stay up reading until midnight on Sunday. WOO!
Judith and I are also battling it out again, because what is a readathon without a little healthy competition? Her goal is to read eight books, so I’ll have to read nine to beat her if she reaches it. If Judith doesn’t get to eight, then I just have to read more than her. Who will win the Battle of Bout of Books 11?
ME. Who knows.
