We’re – supposedly – well into Autumn now and publishers are still going strong with the 2015 releases. There are a bunch of books that I’m looking forward to getting my hands on this month, and I wanted to share them with you all. Which October releases are you looking forward to? Since Shadows of Self doesn’t come out in the UK until November, I decided against putting it in this month’s post. You Americans are so lucky!
I enjoyed Snow Like Ashes enough to read this one, although I will definitely need to take advantage of my own website and visit Recaptains before I read this sequel.
Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
I love the look of this one, I love sci-fi, and I’m really intrigued to see how these two authors work together.
A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis
Mindy McGinnis is a freakin’ awesome author. I loved her Not a Drop to Drink duology, so I have high hopes for this book. Give me alllll the creepy!
An Inheritance of Ashes by Leah Bobet
I’m always here for more fantasy.
Company Town by Madeline Ashby
This is a sci-fi thriller and I am so ready for it. I’ve not read anything by this author before but the cover for this managed to draw me in and now I’m dying to read it.
How have I never heard of An Inheritance of Ashes before!? TBRing NOW!
C.J.
Sarcasm & Lemons
So very excited for Illuminae!
I love space and unconventional storytelling (always a sucker for those two), so I better love it or it’ll be absolutely terrible. It’s been talked about so long that it just needs to be awesome!
I’ve never heard of Company Town before, definitely looking at that one now on Goodreads! And I’m really looking forward to An Inheritance of Ashes too.
Great selection 😀
I picked up A Madness so Discreet, Walk the Earth a Stranger and Daughters Unto Devils last night, all recent releases.
