January is a fabulous release month, as always! I’ve listed the books that I’m absolutely dying to read. I could have picked more, but I thought I should keep it realistic because right now I want to buy them all right this second.
Underwater by Marisa Reichardt
Underwater is about a girl who suffers from anxiety and PTSD. I’m not entirely sure of all the details and the exact diagnosis, but I’ve heard that it’s a beautiful story and that the character’s voice gradually changes as the novel goes on.
The Love That Split the World by Emily Henry
Time travel. I am ready.
Shallow Graves by Kali Wallace
This sounds SO creepy! From the description, it sounds as though a girl wakes up in a shallow grave one year after she died.
A FANTASY NOVEL YAAAASSSSSS
Passenger by Alexandra Bracken
TIME TRAVEL. I am getting my hands on this as soon as possible.

I am so excited about Truthwitch! I love a good fantasy book, so I really hope I end up loving it. 😀
I haven’t had to best of luck with time travels book, so I’m still unsure about Passenger. Think I might just borrow it from the library.

If you want a good time travel book then I would recommend The Girl From Everywhere! It’s fantastic, with a blend of time travel, mythology, and historical fiction 😀

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Truthwitch – and it is totally worth the hype. A really brilliantly done fantasy.
Excited to read the contemporaries you’ve included here – they sound really intriguing, and I hadn’t heard of them before!
Amber says
EXCELLENT! I’m going to add it to the top of my wishlist and then hopefully hold off until I’ve read a decent amount of books from my TBR XD

You just sold me on Shallow Graves. Damn, I’m going to be broke after January!

Truthwitch and Passenger are the two books I am most likely to sell my soul for this month. Luckily I won a pre-order of Truthwitch so hopefully that arrives soon 😀
Amber says
AHHHH, congrats! You’ll have to tell me what you think of it. I’m holding off for now because I already bought a new release this month (This Is Where It Ends) and I don’t need more TBR books. BUT SOON.

Hello! I’m so excited for The Love that Split the World and Truthwitch! 🙂 I’m hoping for the continuation of my reading high as I call it – I’m on a roll lately. Thanks for the post! 🙂

Me too! Nearly all the books I’ve read this month have been epic.
