2018 Releases I’m Looking Forward To: Part 2

I wrote a post a few weeks ago that featured a few 2018 releases that I’m dying to read, and since there are a TONNE of amazing-sounding books coming out next year, I had to make a part two. Let me know if you’ve read any of these already and which ones I should be prioritising. If I buy them all then I’m going to go broke soooo quickly.

2018 releases 4

Unearthed by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

This is probably going to be my next read, actually, because I need all the sci-fi. This is about an alien race and space and stuff. I’m so good at summaries.

You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone by Rachel Lynn Solomon

This is about twins who are Jewish who are tested for a genetic disease. One tests positive, but the other doesn’t.

Ink, Iron, and Glass by Gwendolyn Clare

Scriptology, the creation of new worlds through writing, is a thing, and the main character ends up in 19th century Italy. Guys. GUYS.

2018 releases 5

Beyond a Darkened Shore by Jessica Leake

Just a YA fantasy about a girl who can control minds.

Tyler Johnson Was Here by Jay Coles

Tyler Johnson is killed by a police officer and we follow his family who are mourning, unravelling, and basically trying to figure out how the hell this can happen.

2018 releases 6

War Storm by Victoria Aveyard

I haven’t read King’s Cage yet (YET) but I’m really enjoying this YA fantasy series so far, and I’m looking forward to wrapping up the series this year. In case you didn’t know, it’s about people with superpowers.

The Thorn of Emberlain by Scott Lynch

I look forward to this book every year.

Ten After Closing by Jessica Bayliss

This is about a cafe shooting and a hostage situation. Because I am me, I like reading these kinds of books so I’m looking forward to this one!
