Monthly TBR: April 2016

I failed epically with my April TBR as I completely ignored it and only read two books from it. I still want to try to get to those other books this month, but I didn’t want to be repetitive and list all the books again, so here we are, with a fresh list. I’m going on holiday at the end of the month and am hoping for a lot of spare time to read. Let’s hope!

1. A Gathering of Shadows by V. E. Schwab

I held off reading this for so long because I didn’t want to wait for ages for the third book, but I’ve finally given in and decided to read it this month. There’s a new character that I apparently have to meet.

2. Tracer by Rob Boffard

I’ve had my eye on this one for a while because it reminds me a little bit of The 100. I love space stuff, and the whole thing about the madman hiding in the space station intrigues me.

3. The Secret Speech by Tom Rob Smith

I’m halfway through this and I really need to finish it and then get onto the third book. I love the main character of this trilogy, and I don’t know what’s taking me so long to read this book. Damn reading slumps!

4. Time Salvager by Wesley Chu

5. We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver

I promised my friend that I would read this soon and now is as good a time as any. I’m anticipating tears and sadness and outrage.

I’m not officially taking part in ARC April but maybe I should. I have a tonne of ARCs that I’d like to get through soon, both upcoming releases and backlist titles.
